Maintenance Technician I – 10‑Hour Day Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician I to join our production team on a 10‑hour day shift. Under limited supervision you will set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair and maintain conveyors, automation, robotics and other ancillary equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot out‑of‑service equipment, act as an escalation point for lower‑level technicians and document all work in the CMMS and ticketing systems.
• Record maintenance issues, maintain operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC and other facility systems.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of major downtime events and assist mechanics on two‑person tasks.
• Carry out light facility projects such as bulb replacement, door repairs, carpentry, plumbing and furniture installation.
• Assemble and test equipment, analyze production delays and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining conveyor, automation or robotics equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly (occasionally up to 75 lb) and stand for 8‑12 hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 % of the time.
• Comfort working at heights, on ladders, and operating material‑handling equipment such as a fork truck.
