Maintenance Technician – Hollywood, FL

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day operation of its Hollywood, FL property. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials responsibly.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Ability to complete work orders and make‑ready tasks efficiently and safely.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
• Willingness to perform general grounds upkeep and minor painting.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies.
