Maintenance Technician – High Rise Lease‑Up

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Albion Music Row high‑rise property during its lease‑up phase. The role involves ensuring that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials and tools efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established safety procedures and documentation standards.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
