Maintenance Technician – Heartwood Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for its Heartwood community in Eugene’s River District. The role supports a boutique‑style living environment, ensuring apartments, common areas, and outdoor amenities meet high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform timely repairs, including appliance troubleshooting.
• Prepare units for new move‑ins by completing the make‑ready process.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of exterior buildings, parking areas, and grounds.
• Assist with vendor coordination and manage routine maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and building systems.

Required profile

• Proficient and safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, entry‑level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
