Maintenance Technician – Garden Property (Saddlebridge)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its garden‑style community in Saddlebridge, located in downtown Davie. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the property, grounds, and amenities clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory codes.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality of work.
• Effective communication with residents, vendors, and maintenance supervisors.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call duties.
