Maintenance Technician for High‑Rise Apartments

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Aspira, a 325‑unit high‑rise apartment community in Belltown, Seattle. The role ensures the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑requested work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Assist with cost‑control measures and expense monitoring as directed.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and technical instructions.
• Experience with make‑ready procedures and coordinating vendors.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, building codes and preventative maintenance practices.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
