Maintenance Technician for Apartments

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure the safe and efficient operation of apartment buildings by handling routine upkeep, emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance. This full‑time position supports residents and protects property assets through timely work‑order completion.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work‑orders promptly, including after‑hours emergency calls.
• Perform routine building maintenance such as repairing windows, doors, walls, and structural damage.
• Repair leaking or broken plumbing to prevent water damage.
• Address damaged electrical wiring, restore power, and resolve short circuits.
• Maintain HVAC systems to ensure proper climate control.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces when paint is faded or chipped.
• Maintain wooden fences and other carpentry elements.
• Manage trash collection issues and keep common areas clean.
• Identify and correct safety hazards to prevent injuries.

Required profile

• Ability to communicate in English at least 50% of the time.
• Responsive to emergency situations and after‑hours calls.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and lift equipment.
