Maintenance Technician – Effingham Parc

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its Effingham Parc community meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs, and inspecting finished work.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and minimizing material waste.

Required profile

• Available to work a Monday‑Friday schedule (8 am‑5 pm) with a rotating on‑call rotation.
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory tracking.
