Maintenance Technician – Denver

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that the physical aspects of its Denver property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position involves hands‑on technical and mechanical work in a residential real‑estate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to keep building systems operating efficiently.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure all repairs are documented.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work on building systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose causes of defects.
• Knowledge of safety standards and relevant building codes.
• Attention to detail to ensure properties meet Greystar’s quality standards.
