Maintenance Technician – Columbus, OH

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that the physical aspects of Greystar’s residential properties in Columbus meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. The Maintenance Technician performs technical and mechanical work across buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to keep building systems operating efficiently.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections and preparing units for new tenants.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Required profile

• Ability to work on‑site in Columbus, OH.
• Experience handling resident service requests and preventative maintenance.
• Familiarity with safety standards and building codes.
