Maintenance Technician – Brookridge Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join the Brookridge community team in Nashville. The role focuses on preserving the safety, appearance, and functionality of the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas while delivering prompt service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordination with vendors, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing minor painting and signage updates.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
