Maintenance Technician – Broadstone at Sierra Vista

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Broadstone at Sierra Vista. In this hands‑on position you will ensure that the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to maintain clear work order records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve building‑related issues.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Good organizational skills for tracking inventory and managing multiple work orders.
• Commitment to safety standards and willingness to participate in routine safety meetings.
