Maintenance Technician – Brandywine Green

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that the physical aspects of the Brandywine Green property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventive maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventive maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials and tools efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established procedures, safety policies, and risk‑management guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality of work.
• Effective communication with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Willingness to participate in routine safety meetings and training.
