Maintenance Technician – Avino

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its residential property in Avino meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. The role involves hands‑on technical work across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately for service tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and assist with on‑call duties as needed.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Availability for weekend work and on‑call rotation; typical schedule 9 am–6 pm.
