Maintenance Technician – Avana Bellemeade

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s property team at Avana Bellemeade. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, and common areas safe, functional and presentable for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and painting curbs or signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety policies and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with residents, vendors and supervisors.
