Maintenance Technician – Atlantic at Parkridge

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Atlantic at Parkridge community. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Commitment to follow Greystar policies, safety standards and local code requirements.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, lift equipment and work in various weather conditions.

• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic carpentry and plumbing knowledge.
• Pressure‑washing equipment operation.
• Painting of curbs, signage and interior surfaces.
• Inventory management of maintenance supplies.
