Maintenance Technician – Arlow at Blue Ridge

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at the Arlow at Blue Ridge community in Raleigh, NC. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform a variety of technical and mechanical tasks in a residential property setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols.
• Good organizational skills for tracking inventory, scheduling work and completing documentation.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with a rotating on‑call rotation.
