Maintenance Technician – Anton Menlo

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its property in Anton Menlo meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. You will work on buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, handling both resident requests and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing and repairing defects in accordance with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in required safety programs.

Required profile

• Experience performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance in a residential or commercial property setting.
• Ability to follow detailed work orders, safety procedures, and documentation standards.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory tracking and coordination of vendors.
• Willingness to work on‑site and handle a variety of maintenance tasks across the property.
