Maintenance Technician – Albuquerque

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Albuquerque property team. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common‑area amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company procedures.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, and completing all necessary repairs and cleaning.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all service requests and maintenance activities.
• Perform routine grounds and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
• Experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, safety guidelines and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, pressure‑washing equipment, and painting tools.
• Inventory tracking and basic record‑keeping.
