Maintenance Technician – Albuquerque

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Greystar’s residential properties in Albuquerque meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role involves performing technical and mechanical work on buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing them according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Must follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies and attend routine safety meetings.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced property environment.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory tracking.
