Maintenance Technician – Albion in the Gulch

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of its high‑rise property meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or technical issues in a residential property setting.
• Experience with make‑ready procedures, including inspections, vendor coordination, and final unit preparation.
• Familiarity with inventory management and documentation processes.
• Willingness to perform grounds and amenity upkeep, including pressure‑washing and painting.
• Commitment to safety standards, cost‑saving practices, and adherence to company policies.
