Maintenance Technician (91Fifty)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician (91Fifty) is responsible for performing technical and mechanical work to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas of a Greystar property in Houston safe, clean and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete assigned work orders, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors and contractors, and obtaining necessary supplies.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate status to supervisors.

Required profile

• Ability to perform technical and mechanical work on building systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills to identify causes of defects.
• Knowledge of safety standards and relevant code requirements.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Attention to detail in inspections and documentation.
