Maintenance Technician – 54 Magnolia

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the 54 Magnolia property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position follows a Monday‑Friday schedule with an on‑call rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑initiated work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory by tracking material usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using tools and supplies efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform a variety of mechanical and technical tasks safely and efficiently.
