Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

About the role

The Maintenance Technician works independently on the 3rd (night) shift to keep Bosch’s production equipment running smoothly. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic injection molding machines and ancillary equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, manuals, and verbal instructions to diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as inspecting drives, motors, belts, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using repair manuals, parts catalogs, and precision measuring instruments.
• Install and service electrical components, including transformers, wiring, and electronic controls.
• Use hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools to access and replace defective parts.
• Support die maintenance and troubleshoot roll‑forming equipment.
• Install, program, and repair automated machinery such as robots and programmable controllers.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and corrective‑action initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• At least four years of hands‑on maintenance experience covering mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Outlook is a plus.
• Ability to work independently on a night shift with limited supervision.
