Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift (1pm‑9:30pm)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician works the 2nd shift (1:00 pm‑9:30 pm, Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends) to keep large manufacturing equipment running smoothly. The position offers day‑one benefits, on‑the‑job training, and a referral bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, cleaning, oiling, lubricating, and belt changes on hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor and other equipment.
• Diagnose root causes of unexpected breakdowns and execute rapid repairs to minimize downtime.
• Record damaged or worn parts, order replacements, and install them as needed.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed and maintain organized shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance with managers and collaborate on new product introductions or equipment modifications.
• Identify improvement opportunities, propose solutions, and lead or participate in implementation.
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times to support a zero‑accident culture.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certificate in welding, maintenance, electrical or related field preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; multilingual ability is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑centric attitude.
