Maintenance Supervisor – The Waters at Hammond

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas are maintained to Greystar’s high standards of cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee and execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, procuring supplies, completing maintenance tasks and inspecting finished work.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance and cleanliness of community grounds, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots and other common areas.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by service team members to assess policy effectiveness and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify compliance with quality standards, scope and specifications.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with additional maintenance‑related tasks as needed.
