Maintenance Supervisor – The Asbury

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor for The Asbury will oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to ensure that the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time position supports resident service requests, prepares vacant units for new move‑ins and maintains the overall appearance of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, working with the Community Manager to order supplies while staying within budget.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks and documentation.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or technical issues according to established policies and safety codes.
• Experience managing the make‑ready process for residential units, including coordination with vendors and contractors.
• Capability to develop and uphold cleanliness and appearance standards for community areas.
• Skill in inspecting work performed by internal staff and external service providers and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficiency in inventory management and supply ordering within budgetary guidelines.
