Maintenance Supervisor (Temporary)

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor (Temporary) ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and scope specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling work orders and performing building maintenance.
• Familiarity with safety standards, code requirements and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, schedule repairs and manage inventory efficiently.
