Maintenance Supervisor (Raleigh, NC)

About the role

The Service Supervisor leads technical, mechanical and maintenance operations for a Greystar community in Raleigh. This role ensures that all interior and exterior areas—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common spaces—are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, task execution and final inspection.
• Develop and enforce standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas and parking lots.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and necessary supplies.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and supervise maintenance staff in a residential community setting.
• Strong understanding of property maintenance processes, safety protocols and relevant building codes.
• Experience coordinating vendors and managing inventory of parts and supplies.
