Maintenance Supervisor – Prime Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor for the Prime community ensures that all building interiors, exteriors, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite position combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, task completion and final inspection.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas and parking lots.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to verify compliance with quality standards, scope and specifications.
• Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, working with the Community Manager to order supplies within budgetary guidelines.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks and documentation.

Required profile

• Technical and mechanical expertise to perform building and ground maintenance.
• Ability to oversee make‑ready processes for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation and vendor coordination.
• Experience inspecting work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Capability to manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies within budget guidelines.
