Maintenance Supervisor – Overlook Lake Norman

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of Overlook Lake Norman, along with its grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes during the lease‑up phase.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply ordering, task completion, and final inspection.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope, and specifications, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to replenish tools and materials.

Required profile

• Experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a residential community setting.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, punch‑lists, and inventory.
• Effective communication for coordinating with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
