Maintenance Supervisor – Midrise Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical work for a stabilized mid‑rise community of 188 units. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by internal team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with policies and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Complete monthly maintenance reports and other required documentation.

Required profile

• Experience handling work orders and routine upkeep in a residential community setting.
• Ability to coordinate make‑ready activities, schedule vendors and oversee quality inspections.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory management and budgeting.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes and Greystar’s operational procedures.
