Maintenance Supervisor – Mallard Crossing

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas at Mallard Crossing meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of vendors and internal staff to keep the community operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical or technical issues in residential settings.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, schedule work, and oversee the completion of maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections and quality control.
• Organizational skills to manage inventory, track work orders, and maintain documentation.
• Commitment to safety standards, code compliance, and Greystar’s service excellence.
