Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior building components, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve resident‑reported issues and routine upkeep tasks, adhering to company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, and coordination with vendors.
• Oversee and perform mechanical and technical repairs on building systems, grounds, and amenities.
• Generate, prioritize, and complete work orders efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and lead a maintenance team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents and vendors.
