Maintenance Supervisor (Greenville, OH)

About the role

BASF is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at its Greenville, Ohio production site. The role ensures that all maintenance activities are performed safely, correctly, and on schedule to support continuous 24/7 operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance execution and contribute to long‑term maintenance strategy.
• Monitor performance against maintenance goals, KPIs and hold the team accountable.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance safety, reduce cost and increase efficiency.
• Provide troubleshooting support for crafts and operations when needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors from other departments to maintain a customer‑focused, safe production environment.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience working in a mature maintenance organization.
• Proven ability to supervise a team of hourly maintenance and I&E personnel.
• Strong decision‑making skills that balance business needs with safety culture.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge and troubleshooting experience with pumps.
• Solid knowledge and troubleshooting experience with valves.
• Solid knowledge and troubleshooting experience with heat exchangers.
