Maintenance Supervisor – Greater St. Louis, MO

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This position supports upcoming projects in the St. Louis area and oversees both routine upkeep and the make‑ready process for vacant units.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by maintenance staff, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with policies, quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building or property maintenance, with a track record of supervising maintenance activities.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues, prioritize work orders and coordinate with vendors.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, code compliance and quality inspection processes.
• Organizational skills to manage inventory, schedule tasks and oversee make‑ready operations.
