Maintenance Supervisor for The Winnifred & The Winston

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee two mid‑rise communities, The Winnifred and The Winston, in Charlotte, NC. The role combines hands‑on technical work with supervision of maintenance activities to ensure the properties meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with company policies and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, task completion and final inspection.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas and parking lots.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by team members, contractors and vendors, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
• Maintain reliable transportation to service both properties and participate in a rotating on‑call schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across two sites and manage vendor relationships.
• Effective communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on mechanical and technical repair abilities.
• Experience with make‑ready and unit turnover processes.
• Inspection and quality‑control expertise.
