Maintenance Supervisor for The Willow Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas of The Willow community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with supervision of maintenance activities, vendor coordination and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance execution and final inspection.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas and parking lots.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members and develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify compliance with quality standards, scope and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budgetary guidelines.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks to ensure ongoing building performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property maintenance and supervision.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations and standard maintenance procedures.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repairs.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, vendor coordination and inventory control.
• Attention to detail in inspecting work quality and maintaining community standards.
