Maintenance Supervisor for The Scott Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that The Scott community’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of vendors and internal staff to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and scope specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, including work‑order management and vendor coordination.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and preventative‑maintenance practices.
• Ability to assess work quality, develop corrective actions, and maintain accurate inventory records.
