Maintenance Supervisor for The Quarry Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas at The Quarry Alamo Heights meet Greystar’s high standards for safety, appearance and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects from resident work orders and routine upkeep, following safety standards and code requirements.
• Lead the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply ordering and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and common facilities.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with policies, quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventive‑maintenance procedures as outlined in company policies.

Required profile

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical and mechanical issues in a residential community.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready processes and coordinating vendors.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Ability to manage inventory and work within budgetary guidelines.
