Maintenance Supervisor for Residential Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of a residential community in The Morgan, Texas. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and maintenance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and shared facilities.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality and scope requirements.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and code compliance.
• Ability to lead a team, coordinate vendors, and manage multiple work orders efficiently.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
