Maintenance Supervisor for Multi-Unit Property in Houston

About the role

As a Maintenance Supervisor for a portfolio of 300‑500 residential units in Houston, you will lead a service team to ensure properties are safe, well‑maintained, and presentable for residents and visitors. You will act as a positive role model, mentor, and point of contact for both staff and residents.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily performance of the maintenance service team, modeling professionalism and a resident‑focused attitude.
• Support the Property Manager in enforcing community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and documented.
• Coach, mentor, and set personal goals for team members.
• Schedule and monitor daily maintenance activities for quality and efficiency.
• Manage budgets, long‑range planning recommendations, and inventory control for shop supplies and equipment.
• Maintain security of keys, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of routes and model units to guarantee they meet brand standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service to prospective and existing residents.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing maintenance operations for a residential community.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a maintenance team.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
