Maintenance Supervisor for Mid‑Rise Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical work for a mid‑rise community in Charlotte, NC. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete resident work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Lead the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing maintenance tasks and inspecting finished work.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas and parking lots.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, assess effectiveness of policies and procedures, and create corrective action plans as needed.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify compliance with quality standards, scope and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budgetary guidelines.

Required profile

• Ability to develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for community areas.
• Capability to inspect and evaluate work performed by internal staff and external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and coordinate supplies.
