Maintenance Supervisor for Indigo 19 Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the technical and mechanical upkeep of the Indigo 19 community in Virginia Beach, VA. The role ensures that all building interiors, exteriors, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as defined in company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multifamily residential settings.
• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate repairs.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready processes and managing vendor relationships.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and collaborate with community management.
