Maintenance Supervisor for Avana South Station

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of Avana South Station, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of vendors and the make‑ready process for vacant units.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose defects, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule vendors, procure supplies, complete maintenance tasks, and verify finished work.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials; coordinate ordering with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.
• Assist the Community Manager with additional maintenance and operational tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical or technical issues in residential properties.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, schedule work, and manage inventory.
• Familiarity with safety standards, code requirements, and Greystar’s operational policies.
