Maintenance Supervisor – Cottages

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the cottage community, including grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of vendors and on‑call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to maintain cottages, grounds, amenities and common areas.
• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and complete repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other community spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies; coordinate ordering with the Community Manager within budget guidelines.
• Schedule and supervise external vendors and contractors as needed.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with rotating on‑call duties.
