Maintenance Supervisor – Community Property

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas of The Commons at Rivertown meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This position works closely with residents, vendors, and internal teams to keep the community operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance execution, and final inspection.
• Develop and maintain standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common spaces.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members to assess policy effectiveness and create corrective action plans.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify quality, materials, and compliance with Greystar standards.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose the source of defects and perform repairs according to established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Capability to develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for residential communities.
• Experience inspecting work performed by internal staff, contractors, and vendors and implementing corrective actions when needed.
