Maintenance Supervisor – Cleveland, OH

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join its on‑site team in the Cleveland, OH area. The role ensures that all building interiors, exteriors, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply ordering, task completion and final inspections.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other community spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by internal team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budgetary guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance practices and safety regulations.
• Ability to supervise vendors, contractors and internal maintenance staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
