Maintenance Supervisor – Centric Gateway

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Centric Gateway community in Charlotte, NC, meets Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities to keep the property’s interior and exterior areas operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with and complete resident‑initiated work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, common areas, and market‑ready unit interiors.
• Periodically inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and specifications.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, working with the Community Manager to order needed items.

Required profile

• Proven experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance tasks in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff and external service providers.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and best‑practice maintenance procedures.
• Organizational skills to manage inventory, schedule vendors, and track work orders.
