Maintenance Supervisor – Central Austin

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical work across our Central Austin community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists and coordinating vendors.
• Schedule and supervise contractors, order supplies and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections and preventive maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Strong ability to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, building codes and Greystar’s operational standards.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents and vendors.

• Hands‑on maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and inspection reports.
